You may recognize the symbol from “Alone” – yeah, it’s Rain/Iry-Jo’s symbol, and the other is Thane/Taryk’s. Though he should really be the water and she the fire, their hair did not show up well on those colors – her blonde on orange and his black on the blue, so I swapped them. I actually see how that might fit their personalities better, anyway!

the base image kept getting deleted from myspace as porn…. insane, huh?
How is that porn? There aren’t even any “bits” showing!
As a side note, I was at Target yesterday. They had the “Fifty shades of Gray” Series and Ann Rice’s Sleeping Beauty Series, displayed on the same endcap as the tweenager books. So mad that I didn’t take a pic! I’m not a prude, but I thought this was a tad bit inappropriate. Personally, I think books about spanking and bondage should probably not be in the same area as the Eragon books, but that’s just me. Perhaps someone could explain to us how this is OK when your artwork is not! 😉
I have no idea. Meanwhile I saw some of the photos on MySpace that WERE porn and of course they were not removed…
Seriously?!?!?! Yeah, I am far from a prude either, it;s one thing if a parent wants to let their kid/teen read that but for a store to put it in the teen section…. That’s just wrong. Heck, I’d have read my own series of books at 13 probably, but I don;t market it to anyone under 18! And there’s not even any spanking, LOL! And certainly no tampons… ewwwww….
