If you want to call it that. Please enjoy a photo montage of the last few days.
September 11th was cloudy
But I had a donut from Hy-Vee. Of note, that is not whipped cream, as it appears to be, but rather frosting. I was disappointed.
And we got the kitchen ceiling painted
And the first layer of plaster repair
And the final coat of bathroom paint
September 12th was also cloudy
We had to go to the courthouse like good little home owners and pay taxes.
The Red Oak courthouse reminds me of the one in Clarinda.
This is an awesome building
More clouds. These are taken to annoy hubby who consolations about all the cloud photos I post on Facebook
he clouds are breaking up as we head to my uncle’s house
Where we ate pizza and watched WWE Smackdown
We then went shopping at Walmart in Shenandoah where we found this cute little minion looking for a home
With all the food we bought, we now had to set up that refrigerator we went to Missouri to get.
This took much longer than you’d think, bit finally we for it through the doorway and had to peel away six tons of tape.
Saturday the lady across the street brought us sandwiches and brownies left over from a funeral and incurred us to the Methodist Church. We’re not exactly Methodists but we may give it a shot. They make very yay funeral sandwiches (the kind with ham and cheese and butter) and I have not had the like since I was a kid at the Episcopal Church in Shenandoah.
We direct Saturday tidying and such. We got the mess on the deck cleaned up.
The laundry room organized
The front room arranged
And put mom’s wicker chairs under the Poe tree, so cashed because it looks like a tree from an Edgar Allan Poe story. And though some factions want to remove it, the Poe tree shall remain!
And that’s enough excitement for one post.
Have a good one.
