Trip Part 1 – Iowa

Since I have literally hundreds of photos, I thought the better thing to do was break this up. I’ll try to edit a few a day and post them up, that way you’re not inundated, and I don;t have to spend two days straight photo editing.
We left on September 26th, and of course had to drive the whole width of Iowa. I’ve been on the east side before, but it’s been a minute, so it was fun. Now, I already did a quick blog about the first day, but here are the nice pics I hadn’t taken off of the camera yet.
We stopped at Avoca, Iowa to go to the bank. While hubby took care of business, I dashed up and down the street, listening to the piped in 90s music.
It’s a pretty town.
And since we’re talking about Iowa, we need at least one cornfield photo:
And of course, the next epic thing about scooting across Iowa is leaving it for Illinois:
Wasn’t that fun? We’ll see if I can do Illinois tomorrow!
Have a cool bridge kinda day!
Jo 🙂
Good Intentions
I meant to blog every day while on our trip, but it did not happen. I am copying photos off and will be going through them in the next few days, so I’ll post about the trip then. Suffice to say it was a lot of fun and I look forward to next year!
